Rappahannock County Public Preschool (VPI)
Non-Residency-Based Free & Reduced-Cost Mixed Delivery Program
The Mixed Delivery program provides publicly funded Early Childhood Care and Education(ECCE) services in licensed (non-faith-based), private ECCE settings for children who have been identified as at-risk for entering kindergarten without the necessary social and academic skills for success. The program addresses the growing demand for publicly-funded ECCE in non-school-based settings that meet the needs of families. Mixed Delivery ECCE sites have many of the same quality features as the Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) programs. While residency within a county is not required, you must be a Virginia resident.
